Tatsuya Tanaka is an art director and miniature photographer based in Kagoshima, Japan, and he’s also an author of his own project Miniature Calendar. Most of his pictures involve foods and everyday objects that most of us wouldn’t even give a second glance!
In Tanaka’s own words “Everyone must have had similar thoughts at least once. Broccoli and parsley might sometimes look like a forest, or the tree leaves floating on the surface of the water might sometimes look like little boats. Everyday occurrences seen from a pygmy’s perspective can bring us lots of fun thoughts.“
It’s incredible for how long has this artist kept creating these tiny settings consistently, day in day out, since 2011! Wow.
And that’s exactly what separates great and famous artists from just regular ones. Persistence.
Consider this article to be a VERY SMALL teaser of what you can expect if you visit the Miniature Calendar website.
Anyway, the best way to follow up and see what he creates on a daily basis is his Facebook and Instagram. Let him bring a bit of joy to your everyday life.
